ECM Libra Foundation visited Skibang’s new container classroom on the 20th June 2016 which was donated by them.


4th La Sallian Family Day – 22nd October 2016

This year’s Family Day was held at Skibang Communal hall. We’d like to thank La Salle Centre, Skibang’s supervisor Leo,
YLK volunteers and the students’ parents who put up together such a blissful and fun day! The day started with the prayer
leader who led prayers before we all stood up in respect for our national anthem, Negaraku. Then, we proceeded to welcoming
speech by Leo Mijen and introduction speech by Mr Doros, Skibang’s Ketua Kaum and officiating speech by our YLK chairman,
Mr Peter Yap. After a short break for refreshment, story telling competition was conducted by one of our teachers, Siew
Ing. After the judges’ discussion (Irene Chiew (Chief judge), Jacob Wong and William Chong) and decisions, we proceeded to
giving awards for the competition and for the Most Improved Student from each centre. The day finally ended with
scrumptious food prepared by the students’ parents and of course, a lot of mingling among each other! (Click to enlarge
